The boys did an inspection of the garden to make sure their fence was holding up, and discovered that the deer aren't getting past their fence, but they are sticking their necks through the fish line to nibble whatever they can reach. The tops of all of my pepper plants have been chewed off! Tomorrow, we will have to come up with a new solution -- I'll post on that later.
Sarah's last day of horse camp was today, much to her chagrin. I thought that maybe her love of horses would diminish once she had to get dirty grooming a horse, mucking out a stall, and riding in a dusty corral. I was mistaken. Her intense love for these large creatures has only grown this past 1 1/2 years that she has been taking riding lessons (English style). We are taking the summer off, but she will start riding again in the fall, and will probably begin to start showing.

Our whole family went to watch the week end horse show at camp, and then drove a mile up the road to the Rogers' house, where we met the Anderson's for a swim. Here is Christian playing "Jump the Noodle."
The four boys played a game where they tried to be the last one to be pulled under the water. They played rough -- it didn't look like fun to me! But they must have been having a great time, because the game went on for at least 30 minutes.
We finished our day with dinner at China Star with the Gilliam's, and gathered at their house afterwards where we watched a movie. Abby and Megan caught a ride in our van back to their house, and the only photo I got of our time together was of their dog, Lucy, hopping in our van to greet us upon our arrival.
