Every year, the kids spend a week with my parents down in Florida, so yesterday Tom and I drove them down for their week with Nana and Papa. While we were there, we made a trip over to DeBary to visit with Grandpa and Hazel, whom we haven't seen since we were camping with them in September.
We ate lunch with Grandpa and Hazel at the local Ruby Tuesday's where we encountered some sand hill cranes in the parking lot. They eagerly gobbled up the bread we offered to them.
Since they ate out of Christian's hands, something tells me we're not the first restaurant patrons to offer them food . . . . .
After we got back to Nana and Papa's that evening, we celebrated Sarah's birthday with a little party of cake, ice cream and punch.

My girls are jealous; they want a hair bow like yours.
