Borage Grill with the Coppocks

It was an AMAZING Sunday afternoon with temps in the low 70's - quite a treat in January!  We ate Sunday dinner with Coppock Family at the Borage Grill in Conyers.  Yummy!
4 adults + 9 kids = 3 tables
Thanks for a wonderful afternoon Coppocks!
Sweet baby boy snoozed in the gorgeous weather and let mommy eat a hot meal.

Bath Time

No more tears at bath time!  Hooray!!!!

Liquid Sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandpa had been busy picking oranges and grapefruits and sent me home with 16 bags of them!!!!  Oh my, there is nothing like fresh squeezed juice!

8 bags of oranges yielded 4 1/2 gallons of juice - yay!  Off to the freezer they go!  We'll have less grapefruit juice since we'll eat some and juice some.

THANK YOU GRANDPA!!!!!!!

Time to Head North

All good things must come to an end, so we said good-bye to Nana and Papa and began our journey home.

Luke was very happy to be home!  He was not a happy camper during that six hour drive.  Sissy did a great job trying to keep him entertained.  He did so well traveling to and from Michigan (four days of travel!).  I was riding in the back seat with him during that trip, so we suspect he was unhappy today because he could not see me.  Hmmmm . . . . Maybe make a DVD of mommy and play it for him if she is driving? . . . . . Tape her picture to the back of the seat? . . . . . Just let him cry because he'll outgrow it? . . . . .

Our heating and cooling unit isn't so happy about these cold temps we've been having!

More Meet and Greet

Luke met Nana's friend, Elsie today!

He was hilarious!  He talked and cooed and smiled at her!

Sarah stood beside Elsie and we got to laughing - Sarah is 5'7" and Elsie is 4'8" - cute!

We put his little hood up and left his ears sticking out.

He thought that was pretty funny!

Love this one - he wiggled his hood down over his eyes and fell asleep!

Meet and Greet

Luke had a busy day of meeting people, smiling, and being his usual cute self!

Luke's first visitor was his great Aunt Jan.

Then great Grandpa Vermillion came to meet him and eat lunch with us.

Four generations

Nana put Grandpa to work cutting off the edge of her counter top so that her new fridge would fit.
Sarah taught Papa how to upload pictures to facebook!
Nana's friend, Tem, came by to meet the sweet, new bundle.

Luke's last visitors of the day were our long-time friends and neighbors from Michigan, Bob and Sharon, who came by to meet Luke and snuggle with him for a bit.

Luke's First Trip to Florida

Luke made his first trip to visit Nana and Papa in Florida at the tender age of 8 weeks.  It was raining when we left our house, and the rain continued the entire trip.  Papa had given us the heads up that the weather was going to turn quite nasty by late afternoon, so we needed to get going as soon as we could manage.  We are grateful to the Lord for keeping us safe during our journey and allowing us to arrive before the WICKED storms began!  Nana had a scrumptious dinner prepared for us when we arrived, and we spent the rest of the evening relaxing.

One Sunday Night After Church . . . .

Miss Judy took this one of Luke and Nate

After Luke was in his car seat, Tom started talking to him and he kept making the cutest faces in response, so Tom kept taking pictures!

Luke - 7 Weeks
