A Visit to Hoschton

Monday, July 9th

Our friend, Melinda Hawkins, had told us about a travel trailer for sale that was parked on the Howland's property in Hoschton. Further investigation revealed that this was a trailer worth looking into, so on Monday, we made a 1 1/2 hour trip up to Hoschton (pronounced Hooshton).

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with the Howland's, although it was brief! Much to Christian and Andrew's surprise and delight, they were invited to stay for a couple of days. With 7 kids still living at home, they were able to meet the clothing needs of the boys, as we didn't come prepared. When Tom and I came home, they were in a canoe on the pond, so I knew we weren't going to be missed. They had a great time!

Back Row - Sarah Howland, Mom Debbie, Michael, Christian, Andrew
Front Row - Alaina, Marjorie, Hannah, Laura

This is the trailer that we really thought was going to work. However, we have come to the conclusion that a 38 ft. trailer, weighing 8200 lbs. is just going to be too long and too heavy for us to pull.
