We had our travel trailer out on a recent trip.  Here is Luke helping push the slide out!  I guess he didn't think the motor was doing the job fast enough.

Oh my goodness!  Could you just eat his little face up?!!!!

Fun Facts About Luke

Fact 1 

   Luke has learned how to open doors.  Our doors all have levered handles on them making it very easy for him to get them open.  He doesn't distinguish between bedroom doors, bathroom doors or the front door.  A door is a door and he loves to open them all.  So, if you come to visit, remember to lock the bathroom door so Luke doesn't catch you in an embarrassing moment.

Fact 2

Luke is learning to use a fork.  He thinks it is great fun to stab his food and pop it in his mouth!  The next step is teaching him to eat off of a plate.  If you give him a plate, he will push all the food off of it and onto his high chair tray, and then toss the plate.

Fact 3

Luke is starting to attempt to say as few words.  He listens to what we say, and then he'll repeat the first sound of the word.  Night night comes out nigh nigh and music comes out "mu" (as in muffin).  He still jabbers non-stop in his own little language too!

Fact 4

From the time he was born, we have been training Luke to sit quietly through our worship service each Lord's Day.  At our church, we do not fragment the family by sending teens and children somewhere else during worship - whole families sit together to worship the Lord.  Training began in earnest about six months ago and has been a challenge.  However, the past 3 Sundays, he has sat quietly on one of his brothers' laps, sucking his thumb and clutching his blankey, and eventually falling asleep.  Yahoo!

Fact 5

Luke is now big enough that he can climb up onto furniture.  His greatest accomplishment (in his opinion) was learning to climb up on Andrew's bed.  Andrew sleeps in the bottom bunk in the room that he and Christian share, and Luke is fascinated with being in "the cave."  Oh, how he loves his big brothers!  When I can't find him, I always look in their room first!
